A special player from his first season to his last, Bobby Orr’s Hall of Fame career with the Bruins has made him the most iconic and greatest player in Bruins history. Upon joining Boston in 1966 the Bruins had not previously won a Stanley Cup. That changed in 1970 as Orr would give the Boston Bruins their first and second Stanley Cup titles in 1970 and 1972, respectively. While Orr has always played defenseman he has also won numerous offensive awards as well. In his career Orr has won 8 total James Norris Memorial Trophies for top defensive player but also 2 Art Ross Trophies for top scorer and 3 Hart Memorial Trophies for Most Valuable Player. Orr was inducted into the Pro Hockey Hall of Fame in 1979, the same year that he retired, a tribute to his extraordinary career that the Hockey Hall of Fame would waive the normal three-year waiting period for induction.
This Boston Bruins logo hockey puck is autographed by Bobby Orr. Orr’s signature was witnessed by an Upper Deck representative as part of UDA’s 5-step authentication process.
